Jessica Cruz Munos, MD

Dr. Cruz was born and raised in Mexico, where she earned her medical degree from Universidad Quetzalcóatl School of Medicine in 2013. After medical school, she moved to the United States to pursue clinical research at Emory University and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, where she focused on childhood obesity and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease.

In 2023, Dr. Cruz moved to Philadelphia to pursue her passion for pediatrics and completed her residency training at Cooper University Hospital in New Jersey in 2026.

Dr. Cruz is thrilled to join PHA Pediatrics and looks forward to caring for and building lasting relationships with children and families throughout Philadelphia and Lower Merion. She is passionate about providing compassionate, family-centered care and helping children grow and thrive.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Cruz lives with her husband and is the proud mother of two wonderful children. She enjoys spending time at the beach, traveling to Mexico to visit family, and taking walks around the neighborhood with her family.
