Miriam Anolik, MD grew up in northern New Jersey, knowing from an early age that she wanted to be a doctor. She graduated magna cum laude from Tufts University in biology and then went to SUNY Downstate for medical school. She completed her pediatric residency at Albert Einstein University Hospital – Bronx Municipal Hospital Center.
Dr. Anolik moved to Philadelphia to join her husband and established herself here as a general pediatrician. She has practiced in Germantown, South Philly, West Philadelphia, and now Overbrook. She became the managing partner of PHA Pediatrics while at its former location on Market Street. She feels honored that so many patients have followed her through these moves. After practicing in Philadelphia for more than 25 years, Dr. Anolik is delighted now to be caring for second generation patients.
She is married to Elliot Cooperman, MD, a psychiatrist who currently practices at Crozer-Chester Medical Center. As the mother of 3 wonderful boys, she was an active member of the Home and School Associations in the Lower Merion School District. Now that her children are grown, she has more time to enjoy walking (have you seen her walk to work?), biking, skiing, traveling, reading, and is currently learning bridge.
